Type snip in the Start Menu search box and then click on the Snipping Tool result. Its a free application, which means youll be able to download and install it without any cost, although its worth noting that it must be downloaded from our website or other trusted source. I can copy to a folder, move to a folder, cut, copy or create a shortcut. To get Snipping Tool for your PC, simply visit our website or the Microsoft Store and search with the phrase Snipping Tool. I found that I can Pin it to the Taskbar, Start Menu or use Send To. To use the Snipping Tool with only a mouse: To open the Snipping Tool, select Start, enter snipping tool, then select it from the results. I opened the exe and the Snipping Tool appeared over the search files where I found the file. Listed was 'Snipping Tool.exe and was located in C:\Windows\System32\'. I then used my preferred search program "Agent Ransack" and it found 17 items (920.77 kb). I did a Windows Search and typed "Snip" with no results. When it started up again I went to Accessories again and the Snipping Tool was NOT listed. Then I was instructed to restart the computer, which I did. The machine responded with 'Please wait while Microsoft makes changes to features. I saw a slight variation of what I found in the control panel, it was listed as Tablet PC Components (but I knew that this was the right one) so I ticked it.
